Spousal open work permit (SOWP) of Canada enables the partners of eligible foreign workers to work without a job offer in Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As of January 21, 2025, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) officially made changes to the eligibility for spousal open work permits.
